Cook Family Flood Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Madalyn Cook (Jill and Lance’s eldest daughter) and I'm currently raising money for my family (mom and dad) who recently lost our entire one story home and everything inside it due to the Midland flood that happened about 2 weeks ago in Midland, MI. I'd like to make this a surprise for them. We live in an area on Sturgeon Creek Parkway that got hit the hardest from the flood. The water was around 5 ft throughout the house a garage, and as a result, we had to toss everything including furniture and appliances to the curb for garbage day. My parents and sister moved out of my grandparents house and are now living n an apartment while the house sits empty. It's been torn down to subfloor and wall studs by the restoration company. They have been told by the city that they may not be able to rebuild due to the FEMA regulations, and the whole process will probably take 18+ months or more. They lost all three cars as well.  I want to help my family with what I can from far away, as I do not live with them anymore. I want to be able to give back to the people that raised my little sister and I into the women we are  today, and to give back to the most selfless people I know (Lance and Jill) who have shown nothing but kindness and assistance to others during times like this. Funds raised will be going toward home necessities and possibly furniture :) Thank you all for your time and generosity.
