Cook Family Emergency Medical Travel Fund

Hi, my name is Amanda. I am the Aunt to Ava and Logan and Sister to Erica and Trent Cook. Let me start by saying that Erica and Trent are the type of people who always jump in first to offer a helping hand. About 4 years ago, Logan and Ava Cook were each diagnosed with completely different congenital heart defects. They have been closely monitored by their local pediatric cardiologist. The cardiologist has recently recommended that they undergo surgery ASAP and has referred the Cook Family to a team of specialists in Houston, Texas. The surgeons agree that now is the time to repair the children's hearts. At the beginning of 2023, the Cook Family plans to head to Houston for approximately 6 weeks for the surgeries and recoveries of Ava and Logan's hearts.

Thankfully, Trent's job as a local Firefighter/EMT provides quality health insurance for the family. However, out of pocket maximums/deductibles spanning 2022 and 2023 and travel expenses back and forth from Montana to Texas (insurance does not cover any medical travel/lodging whatsoever) has put a significant financial strain on the family.

They are expecting miraculous outcomes and quick recoveries and would appreciate your support and prayers.
