Cooper family needs our help
Donation protected
Hi my name is Matthew Parker, I am Jody’s partner at work in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Jody’s wife Annette was recently diagnosed at Vanderbilt medical center with a brain tumor and is just out of surgery. The cooper family is in a crisis on many levels. I humbly ask that everyone reading this prays for Jody and Annette who have been married for 43 years with two children Amanda and Will. Over recent phone calls and visits to the hospital Jody has disclosed to me that the medical bills for emergency brain surgery are already coming in. As well as disclosing to me that his major medical insurance he holds for himself and his wife does not cover the required in patient physical rehab and various other post surgery medical bills yet to come. I have stepped into Jody’s roll at work as he is not able to work while his wife is in the hospital. All donations with be held in special account opened for Annette by Jody. In the coming days and weeks this will be updated with information and words from the Coopers themself, I am only making this page for them in their time of need. Sincerely thank you.
***UPDATE FROM JODY***
Friday October 13 2023 10 am.
Ok..Annette is making small steps toward recovery, the EBD drain has been moved from a 5 to a 10, meaning they are trying to get it to the magic number of 20. For most of us that is the pressure in the average person daily. I can't tell you how our Faith in the Lord has increased, back against the wall, all you can do is look up for help. She will sit in a Neurochair for the third day, around 3 hours at a time. PT and OT has started along with speech therapy. I will be the first to admit I don't understand any of this, but he has a purpose for everything. I certainly have been used as his light during this ordeal, pray I will continue to be when the staff sees me kneeling beside beside her bed, I have never felt the presence of the Lord like I have at this time, may he continue to use this servant to witness to others, more updates to follow.
UPDATE FROM JODY. Thursday November 16th. Annette's tentative discharge date from rehab is Nov28. Ok, after adjusting shunt level she has come back strong, speech is so much better, improving daily to the doctors amazement..walking with assistance for about 28 feet.
