Cooper Holman USKids Golf World Championships 2024

We have started this page to get Cooper Holman over to the USKids Golf World Championships which is being played at Pinehurst GC in North Caroline in the USA on August 1st – 3rd 2024.

This is the pinnacle event for Junior Golf around the world. Cooper is an amazing talented young golfer who, for the 4th year in a row, has earned his invitation to this prestigious event through winning the Australian Open 2023 and also the Spring Tour Championship 2023.

Cooper has been playing competitive golf since he was 7 years old and has won numerous titles on his golfing journey. Major titles include:

along with numerous local and regional titles where he resides in Queensland.

Cooper has been steadily reducing his handicap over the last 12 months now sitting at around 5.0. For a 10-year-old to have a handicap of 5 is an amazing achievement in itself!!

Cooper trains 5 days a week and plays competitive golf every weekend, he is one of the most passionate, dedicated young golfers you will ever meet. Golf is his life (along with fishing) and all he wants to do is become a Tour Pro and World Number 1 professional golfer.

Part of his journey is proving himself against the best in the world. Cooper is focused on bringing home the trophy and being crowned World Golf Champion for the boys 10 yrs division in 2024.

Last August Cooper was diagnosed with a massive brain cyst over the right side of his brain 9.6 x 6.5 x 3.5cm in size. It is inoperable and has meant that Cooper has been pulled from mainstream school and has had significant restrictions placed on his everyday life, any sort of head knock could be fatal. He suffers from constant headaches, which effects his vision, but still gets out and trains every day, if the headaches aren’t to sever. You never know what is around the corner in life hence the reason Cooper’s family have promised to make his dream a reality. They are not well off just a hard working Aussie family.

Despite him having been invited to play the past few years they have not been able to accommodate this due to the significant financial costs associated with travelling to America.

Any generously donated funds raised will be used to assist Cooper and his father Justin to travel to the US for two weeks and compete in the championship.
