Cooperation Sheffield

We are setting up a movement in Sheffield looking to rebuild communities, empower and fund the Sheffield vibrant cultural scene and shift our perceptions of politics to make everyone’s voices be heard. We are for and about the betterment of our local communities. Our movement is based off of current movements occurring in Hull and Jackson, Mississippi except ours will be moulded around the DNA of Sheffield! We aim to set this movement up by establishing Peoples assemblies; a network of cultural and financial cooperatives and caring for our communities by taking a step away from mainstream politics as no one knows our communities better than ourselves! The funding will establish our ability to disseminate leaflets, use community centres, food for the assemblies and other important materials to help us set up the movement and engage in the communities of Sheffield.
