Copal Staff Fund

We love our staff! But we have found ourselves in a difficult spot because of the current epidemic. We simply do not have the money to pay them for the last week that they worked. This is certainly not unique right now but it is uniquely our responsibility. We are applying for loans, grants, and funding however we can but it is unknown if/when that will be accepted and available. In the meantime, these people that have worked so hard are without pay and are relying on a very small unemployment check. It is humbling as a business owner to not have the means to pay them. It is also humbling to ask you for your help. Every dollar made goes towards paying them. We are also offering items in exchange for your donation in hopes that you feel like you get something in return that brings you some joy and reflects the love that you have shared. Thank you for your support!

About the prints:

In addition to co-owing Copal with Matt, I am a designer and artist. This is how I found myself in the restaurant world through many gracious business owners entrusting me with their identity and design. I have created this series in response to what we are all experiencing with this disease that requires us to rethink physical touch and distance. I hope they serve as a reminder of the beauty and power of human connection.
