Co-Pay Surgery Cost

Hi friends and family! It has been quiet the journey since I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2018. This journey has changed me and truly helped me to grow and become a stronger person for myself, my three sons, and my husband. I am blessed to say that I will be officially cancer free for 5 years on March 15th, 2024! I am so happy to be able to type those words! Though this journey I can hopefully say is almost over, I have one last obstacle to overcome. Because I carry the breast cancer gene, I have been highly advised to get a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery. This will decrease my chances of reoccurrence from 80% to less than 1%! This is a no brainer for me. I want to be here for my kiddos, so I decided it is time to get it done. I am scheduled for May 20th, 2024! I am mentally ready and want to do this last thing to hopefully close this chapter for good! I am asking my friends and family for help with the co-pay that I just found out about. Right now, I work 1-2 days a week, I stay home with the kids, and I am also in school. With everything, we are just unable to afford the co-pay. I hate to have to ask because I know times are difficult but if you are able to help me with this, it would truly mean the world to me!
