Bringing Home the Copeland Twins

Five and a half years ago, we began the very long process of adopting. And now we are thrilled to be down to the last couple of months before we can bring our precious children home from Haiti! On August 6, 2019 Jedidiah and Adeline were declared Copelands and we were declared the adoptive parents of these beautiful 3 year old twins. Now all that is left is to get passports and visas for the twins to fly to Canada. But Haiti is in turmoil. All government offices are shut down. They are only open whenever it is safe for staff to come in. This is partly why the adoption process has taken so long. Over the last 5 years their adoption process stood at a stand still, time and time again, due to unrest in Haiti.

Our final adoption payment is due in the next week or two. Then we need the funds to book tickets to Haiti to bring our twins home. Please help us finish these last steps and bring our two sweet children home to meet their new siblings, Canaan, Emmaus and Berea.


We need an additional $5,500 USD for the final payment and approximately $8-10,000 for the trip to Haiti to bring them home. The flights are very expensive as there are so few airlines flying to Haiti during the time of political uncertainty. Anything that comes in above these numbers will be put toward purchasing the things we need for when the twins come home like car seats, clothing, beds etc.


In October of 2018, we flew to Haiti to meet our twins, only weeks after receiving the official match. We spent two beautiful weeks with them, getting to know them. We have not been able to go back to see them since and we are aching to get them home. Thank you so much for helping our family finally come to be together under the same roof!
