Cora's Facial Feminization Surgery costs
update (11/22/2020) - Thank you all for your generous donations! I was able to pay for a consultation and a CT scan, and I got a full quote of how much the FFS procedure I want done would cost. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover this procedure, so the total costs for the jaw and chin surgery amounts to about $10,000 dollars. Which was less than I expected, but makes sense since I'm only wanting to get just my jaw altered. About $2,000 of that total cost is covered by this fund, which leaves about $8,000 more to raise/save for this procedure. I have a little bit of money saved up myself for this but it would really sincerely help me a lot if you could continue to donate.

I began my medical transition on the 14th of August, 2017, and I've made considerable progress in the past three years in regards to body dysphoria and even face dysphoria to an extent. While I'm satisfied with the way my face has changed over the past three years, certain things such as the squared-out bone structure of my jaw cannot be feminized with hormone treatment alone.
I've had a large jaw and chin since I was 15 or so, though prominent jawlines run in both sides of my family, and while it's not a bad feature to have a sharp or prominent jawline, some distinct features of my jaw masculinized through my late teenage years and early adulthood. Be it muscle or bone that was what changed, certain parts such as the corners of my jaw and my chin squared out, building up bone and seemingly pushing my jaw forward.
Facial Feminization Surgery, or FFS, is an umbrella term for a bunch of different procedures, and can range from $20,000 to $50,000, without insurance. Luckily, I have insurance, and also the changes I seek here aren't very drastic.
The top part of my face I'm completely fine with, merely the bones in my chin and my jaw is what I have the biggest problem with, and that's why I only ask for $2,000, about 10% of the out-of-pocket costs of the more lighter FFS procedures. Any help is appreciated, as "elective procedures" may or may not be covered by my insurance.
Thank you very much for your donations, and here's to hoping everything turns out awesome.
