Coraki Flood relief

Hi my name is Elsie and I am raising funds for the town of Coraki in Northern NSW, recently affected by the devastating floods in Northern NSW. A small town of 1300 people, it was wiped out in the recent floods and while the flood water have receded, the recovery continues for the people of this town. This cause is special to me as my parents are located 10 minutes away on a flower farm which was also wiped out. My parents were lucky (if you can use that word) in the fact that they didn't lose everything and that they are still alive and well.

 

Funds raised will go towards Southport Rotary who are organising vouchers to support the small businesses of Coraki to help this town get back on their feet and back to a sense of normalcy. Small businesses include the pharmacy, the takeaway shop and corner store.

 

Funds will be raised with the objective of myself to run/walk 100km throughout the month of May.
