Cora's Help Fund
Donation protected
On 6/4/2017 12 year old Cora was hit by a boat while swimming. She has a lot of recovery time to heal. We are setting this up to help her family with the bills they will incurr while she is in the hospital and her recovery time after. Her Mother will have to be off work and make many trips to doctors and U of M hospital where Cora is being treated. Any donations go directly to Michelle, Cora's Mother.
Update on Cora Rae They were able to fix some of the tendons and they stiched up 2 of the major lacerations the one behind her knee and the one on the bottom of her foot. They are putting this brace on her that has screws holding the bones together to heal for now. All the tendons that went to her 4 lil toes were severed in 5 places so she will NEVER have feeling in her right side of her foot and won't be able to move her lil toes the big toe is good so all her support will have to be on her left side and the bottom of her foot. They said she will be able to walk again after she heals. The thing they are looking at now is infection--worst case scenario if she gets an infection they would have to amputate her leg but they said that is very unlikely going to happen so we have a long road of recovery.
