Corban's Bucket List & Bruwer Family Support Fund

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the conclusion of Corbans Journey. The rapid and aggressive spread of Rhabdomyosarcoma, a form of cancer, spread and overcame his body so rapidly, it left him unable to combat the disease any longer. He peacefully departed on Thursday, January 18, 2024, just a few weeks after celebrating his 19th birthday.
Upon initiating this GoFundMe campaign, our initial optimism anticipated a few more years for Corban. However, the harsh reality set in soon after, and our hope dwindled to at least a year. It became evident that Corban, recognising his limited time with us, adjusted his bucket list to align with his life expectancy.
Corban had a few key wishes for quality time with his family, including:
* Visiting Lapland with his family
* Embarking on an epic fishing trip with his family
* Seeing his grandparents in Namibia one last time
As his final days approached, Corban was acutely aware of his limited time. During this period, he personally designed a tattoo for Ian and Cheryl, both of whom plan to get the tattoo soon. This, in a way, allows Corban to be a lasting presence with them.
He also had a fondness for George Ezra's music and likely would have wished to attend one of his live performances.
Corbans final request to his parents was to fulfil his bucket list. Please join us in honouring his memory by helping make these wishes a reality.
