Corbin Abernathy: Tragically burnt.

Hi, my name is Jessie Hurst on behalf of Chris, Codie and the entire Abernathy family I would like to share a devastating story in hopes of helping there family on a long fight to recovery. On September 6, 2021 The Abernathy’s 7 month old was involved in a serious accident. Corbin was in his walker like any other day and grabbed the cord to a rice cooker pulling it off onto him. The tragic accident resulted in immediate burns to his little body. He was taking by ambulance to the Gainesville burn unit and now is in the NICU. He has burns on the front of his torso, both arms and both legs. Estimated 20-35% of his body. They gave him morphine before transport and when he got to Gainesville they had to give him narcan because he was not reacting well to the morphine resulting in having to wake up this little man. The purpose of this gofundme is to alleviate any financial hardships that arise from his medical care and related expenses. We appreciate any and all donations.
