Corbin Strickler’s hospitalization

Corbin Strickler, my cousin, has been hospitalized for going on 2 weeks now and they are still unsure when he will be discharged. He went in with a ruptured appendix and has had to have multiple drain tubes emplaced in several abscesses caused from the massive infection. Corbin has had to have multiple CAT scans to monitor the abscesses and the infection. They found 2 that they are unable to place drainage tubes in due to the location. They are hoping the IV antibiotics will reduce those abscesses and get rid of the infection. Once Corbin gets discharged he will have to return in 2 months once the infection is gone to have surgery to get his appendix removed. Corbin’s mother and father are going to have to pay a portion of what the insurance does not cover. His father being the only income provider for a family of five has been unable to work during the hospitalization. There has someone at the hospital with Corbin and there are two other children at home. Times are especially tough with the holiday season coming up with young kiddos. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated by the entire family.
