Corey Michael Laber Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On Tuesday, March 29th, our lives changed forever. Corey Michael Laber (age 20) was in a motorcycle accident on his way home for lunch from his HVAC employer Berry Refrigeration. Corey fought hard through the night but was called home to receive his wings at 6:49 AM the following morning. Anyone who met Corey quickly learned just how empathetic and compassionate he was. He wouldn't hesitate to help anyone at anytime for anything. This compassion didn't end the morning of March 30th. Corey signed up to be an organ donor when he received his drivers license at 16. Shortly after he passed his donation helped to better and save the lives of over 6 people. This last act of empathy speaks to the core of the character that Corey Michael Laber encompassed. This fund has been setup to help with the unexpected expenses that Corey's family now faces to honor his legacy. In keeping with Corey's spirit of constant giving, any funds collected that are over and above final expenses will be used to provide a trade related scholarship for future tradesmen at Corey Michael Laber's Alma Mater St Georges Technical High School.
