Corey Wilkinson Fund
Our cowgirl sweetheart is needing your help. Let's show her our love.
Yesterday while competing in the Alaska State Fair Rodeo, Corey had a roping accident that severed her right thumb. She was transported to Matsu Regional Hospital in Palmer, where they found the damage needed specialist surgeons not available at the time in Alaska. She was transported by LifeMed Alaska by ambulance to Anchorage and then fixed wing to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
She had 3 surgeons working on her early this morning and they were able to save the thumb, tendons and nerves. They are hopeful for healing, but not 100% sure of results or if there would be a need for further surgery. She is awake, doing well and hoping to return soon to Alaska with Brendan.
She did Not have insurance and will incur large medical bills from Matsu ER, Providence Imaging, LifeMed, Harborview and 3 surgeons. Let's all help to alleviate some of the financial burden for her.
She has the biggest heart for people. She is so generous with her time/talents and always there to lend a hand to help anyone who needs it.
Donate if you are able and please continue to lift her up in prayer during healing, rehab, and for the emotions that come with injuries.
Thanks everyone...
