This GoFundMe page is being created in an effort to raise money for my son’s education. Corey Simmons Jr., my son, is a talented 9 year old boy, a basketball phenomenon, projected to be 6’9” and competes against 12 year olds. He has fallen behind in his academics and requires additional tutoring to improve is grades. The Kumon tutoring program has helped him greatly with keeping up with math & reading academics last year. I paid $240 per month to get the tutoring for him and with it he was able to passed important exams and move into the 3rd grade. Due to personal financial circumstances, I can no longer afford the program. I am a single father and self-employed clothing designer (www.papertrailsclothing.com) who values my son’s education so I am asking the help to pay for the tutoring expense for 2 more years (Total: $5,760). The assistance can come through this page or can be paid directly to the Kumon Tutoring center in my neighborhood.
