Support for Corey Pladson &family

My name is Jackie and Jen Pladson and I go way back to kindergarten when our friendship first started. I would like to start this campaign to raise money for Jen and Corey to assist with hospital bills and living expenses while Corey is not working. Jen has access to withdraw the funds as the family needs.
On August 22, 2016, Corey suffered a stroke (in fact 2 strokes) at age 38. Thankfully Corey was on the phone with his wife, Jen, when he had the stroke and she was able to call 911. Corey was taken to Altru hospital and received tPA. He was transferred by ambulance to Essentia Health in Fargo due to needing Interventional Neurology specialty and is in the critical care unit. While Corey was in the hospital he suffered a third stroke, which took away his ability to speak and has right sided paralysis. Corey has a long road in front of him with needing rehab.
Corey does not have short-term disability but does have long-term disability that will kick in ~6 months. Jen and Corey have 3 beautiful daughters (Madison (9), Abigail (soon to be 8), and Cadence (3)) and while the family is focusing on Corey's health and recovery, let's see what we can do to support them. Together I think that we can ease some financial burden-no amount too small.
