Cori & Keith Medical Extended Stay Expenses

Cori and Keith were on vacation in Panama City, FL. Keith passes out at 2 am on Monday, September 27th. So many praises in this story, he was stabilized in Panama City, was able to be transferred to Pensacola - Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital. The doctors, nurses, neurologist and neurosurgeon have been WONDERFUL!!!! EVERYONE raves about his surgeon. The surgery went well and she was able to place a coil to tie off the bleeding aneurysm in his brain. Needless to say, they will be there for awhile at least 2 weeks minimum. He will have a repeat surgery next week to make sure that everything is still in place and is working properly. Please continue to pray for complete healing and a speedy recovery with no set backs.

 

So many people have asked how they can help. The most immediate need is a hotel stay for Cori for the next 13 days, plus the expense of food, gas, etc. As with most medical tramas, there will be more upcoming expenses. We have discovered that this will be the fastest way to get them immediate assistance. Thank you for your generosity, kindness and most importantly your prayers. We appreciate everyone that has reached out to Cori and Keith to show your love and support. Although they may not have responded, they have seen it. Thank you is not enough!

Updated 9/29/2021:
Keith had a Basilar Tip Aneurysm.  He is talking and remembering things better today, so that is good. He constantly complains about his head and neck feeling swollen, full and stiff.  He was able to stand for a bit and is talking a little bit more.  He is still in significant pain in his neck and head.  We have so much to be thankful for!  As doctors and nurses remind them, so many in this situation do not have the same story.  We continue to be in awe of the kindness of so many people.  Thank you again for the text, FB messages and calls.  Cori continues to want everyone to know she reads them, but is limited to how she can respond right now.  She was able to find a hotel close to the hospital.  Your generosity is such a blessing since they are in a vacation hot spot right now so pricing isn't exactly "normal".
