Cori Moore Tragedy

On Saturday, April 10th Cori was at home with her husband, Frank, and they were preparing to bring Cori into the ER because she had not been feeling well. Cori suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive. Frank immediately called 911 and began CPR to try to resuscitate Cori. When the paramedics arrived they continued to try to resuscitate Cori and were able to help her regain vitals. However, she coded again immediately upon arrival at the hospital.  After some emergency medical procedures the doctors were able to get Cori's vitals to return. However, due to lack of sufficient oxygen to her brain for more than 45 min Cori was not able to maintain vitals independently for more than a few hours and was placed on life support. After completing diagnostic tests, the doctor's shared with the family that Cori had gone for too long without sufficient oxygen to her brain and it was not showing enough activity to sustain life and there was nothing further the doctors could do. The doctor's also shared that Cori's cardiac arrest was caused by a bacterial infection that had started in her lungs and rapidly spread into her bloodstream and throughout her body. The infection spread too fast with very few symptoms and caused the body to deteriorate too quickly. Frank, along with their children, Richard and Brooklyn, gathered to spend the last few moments of Cori's life together. All of Cori's siblings and parents also gathered to say goodbye to their beloved Daughter and Sister. On Sunday, April 11th Cori passed away surrounded by her family. The family of Cori Moore is needing financial help to assist in paying for the medical bills. Cori was in the hospital for only a short time, but the costs of the tests and life support accumulated quickly.  Any funds received will be used to help the family pay for medical costs as well as funeral costs.
