Cori Needs Our Help!

As many of you know, my daughter Cori Burns has been through a living hell recently. Her brother, Troy died suddenly in his sleep on January 22nd. She took time off of work and went to Tucson and spent 3 days with her other siblings removing all his belongings from his apartment. Then on January 10th her best friend was in a head on collision with her daughter in the back seat. Cori left work immediately and picked up the two older brothers to bring them to see their sister. On her drive to Phoenix she was informed that the 5 year old daughter of her best friend was not going to survive. She then sat bedside with the baby day and night to do whatever she could to support the family. She, having been there the moment this child came into the world, he heart told her that she should be there as she left our world.
Cori has always been the person that will go to any lengths to help others. Even at great cost to herself and her own well being. Rarely asking for anything in return. She has been sick with a cold since she came home from Phoenix Children's Hospital As Cori was driving home this morning from getting dayquil in hopes of feeling better, she was in a minor accident and rear ended someone. Luckily no one was injured. She has liability only insurance so the damage to the other car will be covered. But the repairs on Cori's car will not be covered and sustained most of the damage. The car may be fixed enough to just get it driveable but to fix it entirely will cost an astronomical amount. And in the meantime she has no transportation. Which means eventually she will need to buy a different car. As many of you know she commutes to the VOC 5 days a week for work and to west sedona 3-4 times a week. If she doesn't have reliable transportation she will lose her job.
Cori has missed upwards of almost 2 weeks of work already, due to 2 extremely tragic deaths that Cori, true to her nature dropped everything to help in any way that she could. She need our help. She hates that is has come to this but she has found herself in a desperate financial situation on top of struggling with the heartbreak that is causing intense emotional trauma. As her mommy and best friend, I hope our community can give back to this troubled soul. No amount is to small Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
