Tumor Eviction

Hi, my name is Priscilla and I am one of Corine's best friends. Corine and I met in 2007 as EMT's and have been connected ever since. If you're reading this, she has captivated and brought you joy and laughter too!
Corine started having headaches, stroke-like symptoms, and eventually it all limited her daily life. For over 2 years now, she has had endless medical appointments, imaging scans, and multiple diagnoses; yet no resolution of symptoms or improvement. A tumor in her temporal lobe was identified and removal of it has been considered a last resort resolution after many medications.
Corine was an EMT and then obtained her LVN license, she has been nothing but light and love to her patients and co-workers. She worked daily at a Skilled Nursing Facility during COVID despite her high risk status. Since her diagnosis, she has been unable to work and her disability benefits have been exhausted; she is crafty and supplemented income with our favorite Moonana instagram gift shop.
She is a loving and caring friend, but we all know she is also hilarious and a scrub-wearing fashion icon, Starbucks cup collector/dealer, and inappropriate joke maker.
This January 9th, 2023...Corine will be undergoing brain surgery to remove the tumor that was found in hopes of recovering her normal life. We would love to see her not worry about her rent and bills during the post-operative recovery time which will require physical therapy and any other recommended treatments.
When asked what she would like to say: "I would like to thank the Academy for any help".
Every bit helps, let's get this girl back on track!!
