Corinne’s Soccer Training & Travel

Dear Family!  

As you may know, Corinne has been playing with ETA United futsal team here in Yorktown for 3 years and with Virginia Legacy  soccer team for 4 years. This has meant strength, conditioning, and ball work training up to 4 days a week and travel every weekend from NC to MD for games.   Corinne is a committed athlete who loves the game of soccer and futsal. 

All of Corinne’s hard work and love of the game has paid off. She has been invited to attend the FC Porto Academy in Portugal next Spring as part of the International squad.   

She  recently attended a local camp hosted by FC Porto. The professional football team playing in the Primeira Liga, the top flight of Portuguese football.  FC Porto sent coaches to the US to recruit players for the International team. We are all so excited for her opportunity and hope you can help!

We are trying to fund her trip. Training starts July 28-31 in Rome, GA and will continue in Virginia until the final trip to meet the local FC Porto team in training and match play.  Why Portugal and FC Porto?  Portugal is the birthplace of Futsal. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best!

Our first hurdle is getting her to Georgia in 2 weeks. Once she lands in Georgia all her expenses will be paid for - travel to/from fields, training gear, food, lodging. we pay airfare and initial training fees. 

Again, we are so excited for Corinne and this great opportunity. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated and all for her!
