Cornwall's First Beach Sculpture for Plastic Waste
Donation protected
Help us to install a huge and beautiful Steel Fish Waste collecting Structure at Par Beach Cornwall S W Coast Path, Par.
Cornwall is famous for its lovely beaches and the amazing sea and wildlife. The beaches attract visitors and when they go back, they leave a lot of waste. Par Beach is famous for its views and dog walkers however our local beach also receives the plastic waste and rubbish which is actually harming the marine life and beauty of the beach. We want to raise the awareness for plastic waste and its harmful effects on our beaches in the south west, namely Par Beach to start with.
We wish to raise funds for setting up and installing a huge steel wired beautiful fish sculpture for the purpose of collecting plastic rubbish, litter and other plastic waste like plastic bottles. Its our aim that the fish will have a huge open mouth to put the waste material in saying "Feed me not the Ocean".
It will solve 3 purposes -
1) It will keep the beach free from hazardous plastic and other waste material.
2) It will be a symbol of how plastic is affecting the marine life as well as the beach for visitors.
3) This will create an awareness between the people and help keep our beaches clean, beautiful and amazing places as they should be.
This is our vision and commitment towards the environment. This also aligns with our motto to use and promote environmentally friendly products and activities.
We have had Celebrities support and SIGN this petition so please do the same so we don't lose these beautiful clear waters.
Come join us (Gloweasy Promotions based in Cornwall) in this movement to bring the change. Please contribute generously as each donation matters and will bring us closer to being more environmentally friendly in the South West. You can donate just £5.00 (Minimum Donation) it will all help towards our goal of £2500.00.
This will also be a huge attraction and will support a local business as they will be contracted to manufacture the larger sculpture and will be remembered at par Beach for a very long time!
