Coronavirus Appeal: Selby Food Hub
Coronavirus has had a huge impact on our community making people very vulnerable. The Selby Food Hub is providing food, sanitary items, cleaning products and baby items to as many people as possible.
How are you helping?
The Selby Food Hub is open every Tues 2pm -4pm and Thurs 4:30pm - 6:30pm at the Selby Centre, Selby Road, Tottenham, London N17 8JL.
We provide bags of food/drink to people who attend and residents can ask for toiletries, laundry items, baby products.
We do not turn anyone away. We do not request any vouchers or referrals. We do not conduct any immigration checks. Everyone is welcome, including those who have no recourse to public funds.
What do you need the money for?
We are raising funds to keep our stock levels up, especially on essentials like long life milk, tinned fruit, cooking sauces and tinned food (like baked beans).
We also use your funds for bags, PPE, storage containers, transportation and other items/costs to run our food hub.

Can we donate in other ways?
Yes. You can donate in person by calling our Community Organiser Moussa on 07802 487 971 or dropping off at the Selby Centre, Selby Road N17 8JL Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.
Or you can purchase some items from our Amazon Wish List - these are delivered direct to the Selby Centre (select Selby Food Hub at checkout) click here to donate > https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1ILCJU7JGOGMB?ref_=wl_share
How will the money be handled?
We appreciate people are worried about scams. The Selby Trust is a registered charity and all of our accounts are fully audited. By donating through this crowdfunder the money goes direct to the Selby Trust. Go Fund Me have verified our charity credentials (and we have a green tick)
Because we are a charity we can claim gift aid.
