Donation protected
***UPDATE: THANK YOU to everyone who has and continued to donate. We have officially disbursed funds to every applicant - over 200 Black and Indigenous women since December alone and nearly 350 total!! We will now be directing funds to our Reclaiming Our Birthright Collective for Black Women and Femmes' Healing and Liberation - a 3 month virtual collective, made by and for Black women and femmes, that PAYS Black women and femmes for the time, energy and labor required to heal our hearts and unplug from the white supremacy thrust upon us (especially in the midst of this pandemic).
This healing collective begins in April and we need to raise $100,000 USD in order to make it happen. Once we have funded this healing initiative we will re-open applications for this one-time financial care offering. THANK YOU ALL for your support of Black liberation and healing!***

In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, the most marginalized will continue to bear the brunt of our systems' deep injustices. It is clear the American government has not and will not do enough to support Black and Indigenous women+ (includes trans, gender non-conforming, non-binary, agender, genderqueer, intersex folx, femmes and anyone else who may hold less assigned gender power). Black and Indigenous women+ are undersupported and undervalued on a good day, let alone in the middle of a global disaster.
Support us in supporting Black and Indigenous women+ with money to pay for food, rent, toiletries, childcare, supplies, metro tickets, utilities, caring for ill family members and whatever else is needed to survive not only the first wave of this pandemic, but the massive global economic recession that will follow.
No amount is too small!
If you are an American Black or Indigenous woman+ in need - please apply for financial care here . If applications are closed, check back as they will re-open!
Rachel Ricketts International, LLC is based in Brooklyn, NY and we are distributing these funds directly to Black and Indigenous women+ in need through one-time payments of $250, via PayPal and Venmo, and to select organizations supporting Black and Indigenous folx most in need, such as Black Mama's Bail Out. Our team member Jaz is collecting funds for distribution.
For more information on the organizer head to www dot rachelricketts dot com . All funds distributed will be shared via Instagram stories at iamrachelricketts for full transparency (keeping all recipients anonymous for privacy purposes).
