Coronavirus (COVID19) has created one of the most difficult moments in world history, a moment we will surely look back on. When we do, I want future generations to know we came together as people. To feel proud that we supported one another.
I’ve started a #RentRelief GoFundMe to help people pay bills. Here’s how it works:
1. If you’re short a few hundred bucks and can’t make rent, have an unexpected bill, or you're in a jam because your hours were cut or you lost or your job, tweet at me (@fredtjoseph) on this thread your CashApp or Zelle.
2. I’ll post all transactions in this thread so people know exactly where every dollar is going.
3. If you’d like to join me and help people who are short this month, donate to this GoFundMe.
GoFundMe donated $10k to kick this off. That’s enough for 50 people that are $200 short.
Let’s come together and help as many people as possible.
Can we get to $20,000? That means we’ll be able to help 100 people during this difficult time.
50,000? That means 250 people can make rent.
