Corrie Hughes

I am fundraising for my Auntie Corrie, she suddenly passed on 17th June! We still do not know why and we are currently waiting for the outcome with the coroner it’s been a huge shock to us all to see her pass at just 54.

Corrie was one of the strongest most determined woman you would meet. The things she had been through in her life, from being born with a twisted vertebrae multiple operations from the age of 5, losing the ability to walk due to the operations, blood clots, breast cancer and everything else in between! She fought them all and came through.

Corrie was given the 10 years all clear from cancer just 8 months ago!

Corrie did have a life insurance but we have been advised there is no pay out. We want to honour her in the right way but unfortunately we do not have this money set aside. Anything would help us give her the send off she deserves.

Although she did not have her own kids Corrie was like my mother and the same for many others through their childhoods. A big little sister to my mam and just amazing all round!

Anything earned over and above the funeral cost we are donating to FACT!
