Corrine's Cancer Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Tara and I'm fundraising money for my amazing cousin Corrine.

While at work Corrine started to experience what she thought was a migraine. A few moments later she found herself being loaded into an ambulance after having a seizure.

Later that day we all found out that Corrine had a brain tumor. After a few days, doctors were able to perform brain surgery and remove the tumor.

The tumor was sent for biopsy, and we all waited.... and waited. Praying that the tumor would be benign. But this GoFundMe wouldn't be here if that wish came true.

All of our worst fears came true when we got the news that Corrine's tumor was in fact cancer. It’s an extremely rare and aggressive form called Histiocytic Sarcoma. There are only 15 known cases in the USA in the past 10 years. If ANYONE knows anything about this form of cancer please reach out. There is no clear treatment plan. 

Corrine is being transferred to Texas to start treatment with a Doctor who has seen a few cases.

Her flights and living expenses will not be covered, which is where we come in.
