Cortney Ellis' Car Accident @ Hosp & Home Recovery

Hello, my name is Nichole Ellis and I am fundraising for my sister Cortney Ellis who is in the hospital right now for a lengthy stay, suffing with extensive injuries due to a car accident up Butte Falls Hwy this past week. She just had extensive surgery on a shattered left shoulder and broken right leg, she is also suffering with 18 broken ribs, broken L2 through L5 vertebrae that may require additional surgery, as well as spleen and liver laserations. As of now there is still no release date scheduled and unfortunately she is potentially looking at another 3-5 week stay at Asante Hospital in Medford, if not longer, as well as at home physical therepy for the full year following her medical release. She may never gain full motion in her left arm again and she may never be able to drive again either. Being away from her family has been hard and is preventing her from caring for her two young boys, Brody and Bobby. It is also preventing her from paying any of her bills at home while she is in the hospital as well as the medical bills that are accumulating outside of her insurance coverage.
