Corvian Community School Flood Recovery
2020 has been the year that wouldn’t end. On November 12, 2020, more than 4 inches of rain fell in a matter of hours. Water rose around our elementary building flooding staff cars, the parking lot and school. The wonderful Charlotte fire department evacuated 143 students and staff safely but the damage was done.
The school building has extensive damage and the staff cars are total losses. Our teaches are the lifeblood of our school. We are a small but mighty family. Let’s all pull together once more to help offset the cost of the deductibles of replacing their cars, classroom and teaching supplies, and other essential equipment for our beloved school. Let’s show our Corvian family how much we love them and help rebuild our Cardinals’ nest.
Thank you teachers. We love you.
