Cory Andrews and his family

Hi, my name is Lisa Kingsbury. I am a long-time friend of the Andrews family. I have known Cory since the moment he was born. His momma, Gina and I have been besties since the late '80s. Gina received a call that no parent wanted to get. Cory was recently diagnosed with AML ( Acute Myeloid Leukemia). It happened all very quickly, and they sent him Tuesday, September 27th, from Meritus ER to Penn State Cancer Institute. He is in ICU to be monitored very closely because of the hit his body is taking from the aggressive chemo regimen. He is holding his own right now, but it is taking a toll on him. Gina is staying at the hospital with him. Cory is 32, a loving father of three, and his sweet wife Kat is a stay-at-home mother. Needless to say, this has taken a significant toll on this young family. We are unsure how extended his hospital stay will be at this time and when he will be able to return to work. Cory is the sole financial provider for his family, and his paycheck pays the bills. The donations will go toward their monthly bills, travel expenses to Hershey and his ongoing medical expenses for treatments. We ask that you keep Cory and the Andrews family in your prayers.
