Cory Irving

It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of our loving Cory.

Cory passed away peacefully in his sleep at the young age of 32. He leaves behind his father Dennis, mother Sandy, brother Jay, sister Tina (Ryan), niece Kaylee, nephew Caleb, grandmother Audrey, and countless Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, whose lives he touched.

Cory's laughter and smile was infectious. He was the life of the party, always smiling, hugging and kissing his family. Cory would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his job at the Barley Mill in Penticton, working right up until he passed away. Anyone who knows Cory knows how much love he had to give and how much light he brought to our individual lives.

The passing of a child is something that no parent should have to bear. Both Denis and Sandy are now left with the stress of funeral costs, while trying to grieve the loss of their precious son. Additionally, neither parent have employment flexibility to take time away from work with pay. The donations from this campaign will help pay Cory's funeral costs and alleviate the financial stressors (rent, food) the family is going to experience while grieving their sons passing.

The family needs to heal, our hope is to offer them some comfort and surety that they can concentrate on their wellness and grief, rather than finances.
