Cost of Grandma Margie’s Cremation and After Care

Hello all. On Saturday, January 13th, my grandmother Margie Fritz passed away at 90 years old. She had struggled from severe dementia for over 10 years prior, in which my mother and I were her caretakers until she moved into an incredible assisted living facility called McKay a few years back. The responsibility of after life care costs have fallen upon my mom, Peggy, who does not have the financial means to cover them. After speaking with the funeral home, she has been quoted around $4,000+ altogether. The cost of this combined with the grief my mom is currently facing are undeniably causing immense stress. After exercising multiple options, I am reaching out to friends and family and whoever else is able to contribute for assistance in this.
