Part Cost Of MRI - Brain Scan for Nichole

Hi, some of you may be aware that I’ve been quite unwell for a while now.

All of my blood results came back okay for everything that my Doctor was looking for.

I have been dizzy for weeks, nauseous, confused, slurring my speech and literally walking into walls!

My blood pressure was fine, my heart rate not so good.

My Doctor had the Nurse give me an ECG.

He was not pleased with the results.

I am booked in for an Echocardiogram (Ultrasound of the heart) on the 14th February.

I am also booked in for an MRI (Brain Scan) on the 16th February.

I was only notified today that the MRI is not Bulk Billed and that I will be out of pocket by $330.00.

I AM working on a casual basis, however with my Rent, Water Bill, Electricity, Storage Unit and other living expenses I cannot come up with the $330.00 that is required on the 16th February.

*Please Note* Only some MRI’s can be Bulk Billed* depending on the reason for the MRI.

Unfortunately mine is not fully covered.

My Doctor believes whatever the problem is to be Neurological and it’s important that I have the MRI done as soon as possible.

I am not one to ever ask anyone for help of any kind, let alone financially.

However this is very urgent and important.

So, I am reaching out to Family and Friends to ask for help.

Everything counts and it all adds up.

I have no expectations.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
