Cost of Valor

Donation protected
In 1971 the biggest battle ever fought before or afterwards for Army Aviation was conducted in a 45 day period. Over 600 helicopters were damaged. Over 108 never left the landing zones. Twelve Hundred crew members were wounded and over 100 killed. Nineteen are missing today. We feel that those men, mostly teenagers who displayed courage, loyalty and determination to save allied ground forces as no American ground forces were involved should be remembered and their story told. Tribute should also be paid to those magnificent flying machines, the UH-1, the CH-47, CH-54 and the OH-6 as their survivability brought many of us home. We have written a screenplay to tell this story, but we need help getting it in the hands of the studios. Funds raised would be use for preproduction costs, screenwriter proofing, Proof of Concept production, treatment. In my case, any proceeds that I get from this will be donated to the Army Aviation Museum and scholarship programs after my expenses.
We have four posters now for the motion picture. This one was done by Joe Kline who participated in the battle. He was a crew chief that came home. My sincere thanks to those that have contributed to this effort to honor so many.
