Costa Rica 2025 Expedition - Rob Cragg

Hi my name is Rob, I'm 15 and in the summer of 2025 I have been given the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica to assist in some ecology work with local communities who live close to the rain forest.

Whilst taking part in this month long expedition I will be helping with Marine Conservation, Rainforest Regeneration and helping local communities with building projects.

This trip is being run through Camps International and via my School, with an aim to build my self confidence and give something back to the planet.

This will be an important life experience for me which will allow me to meet new people and live within a community which is far beyond that which I currently live in. It will also allow me to help with conservation projects in the heart of the planet, planting trees, cleaning the ocean and beaches, and making an impact on the areas where many endangered animals live, such as Sloths, Primates, and Turtles.

The cost of the trip is completely self funded which is why I need your help, the total cost of the trip is £4980 and will pay for all transportation and living costs while in Costa Rica, this will allow me to spend a total of 4 weeks working and helping people and the planet. Any additional money over this total will be donated directly to Costa Rican Conservation projects.
