Costa Rica Medical Trip 2024

Hi my name is Bailey Hoffman. I am a current first year medical student at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have been chosen to go on a medical mission trip this Summer with my school! We will be volunteering in health clinics and participating in community service in two different rural towns in Palmares Alajuela. The trip is a week long and we will be staying with host families while we are there. This is literally a dream for me! I am beyond excited to put all of the knowledge I will have learned in my first year of medical school to use. It is easy to get caught up in the amount of material and examinations we go through, but opportunities like this remind me of why I chose the path I did. Being where I am today is worth all of the sacrifices I have had to make. It is a surreal feeling. What else could a girl ask for. Well... there is one thing. This student loan life is tough lol I would appreciate any financial assistance in making this dream come true. I promise I won't let you down!
