Costly Medical Bills For My Cat Mur

Hello, my name is Nikki and I'm writing today to ask for help from my love ones, friends, and community for my sweet cat Mur. Unfortunately this past Tuesday August 16th 2022 in the afternoon I experienced a horrible lunch break by finding my poor baby boy in the dryer!!!! He somehow jumped in the dryer without the person doing laundry knowing he was in there and they started the dryer! I found him only because I was heading back to work after eating lunch and realized I hadn't seen him my entire lunch break. When I found him it was a brutal sight as he was barley conscious and his mouth was open, eyes fluttering. I immediately took him to the emergency vet office as I couldn't get in with my own vet office. They inform me that my poor boy had a concussion, chewed his tongue up very bad which caused him not to be able to close and drool all over himself, temperature, dehydration, massive liver damage which caused his liver to leak with enzymes going into fatel numbers+ and a few other things. But somehow my boy pulled through the night and has continued to fight daily to get better. This emergency vet is saving my Mur and I'm truly thankful but it most certainly is coming at very costly price financially. I'm trying to keep up with cost but have been informed it can go up as he stats more in their care. When he is released from the emergency vet he will have to go to follow ups at our regular vet for his liver. Which can involve blood work and other tests to be done to ensure he is truly healing properly. I'm a woman with strong pride and try to always be independent with carrying my own weight in life. But we all have times where things come unexpectedly and can be out of our control. So with that being said if you can donate to help my sweet Mur I would greatly appreciate y'all and I know he would as well. Anyone that knows me knows my pets are my children and I love them more then life itself. I'd do anything to save them and in this case doing what I can to make sure my Mur can keep pushing on and heal. Thank you for reading this long post and taking the time to listen to me.
