Costs for Alisha Dodge

11 years ago Alisha Nicole Dodge was diagnosed with an Auto Immune Disease.  On Monday, December 10th, 18 year old, Alisha called her mother Amy, saying that she wasn't feeling well.  Amy told Alisha to go to the doctor.  Alisha was treated and released at approximately 2 am on Tuesday, December 11th.  By 10 am, Tuesday morning, Alisha called Amy, very incoherent.  Alisha's Aunt went to check on Alisha, at her apartment in Fallon while Amy drove from Yerington to Fallon.  When her Aunt arrived an ambulance was called and Alisha was rushed to the hospital.  Once Alisha was stable enough, she was Care Flighted to Renown in Reno.  After arriving at Renown, at 557 pm, Alisha's heart stopped for 4 minutes.  The amazing staff at Renown were able to bring Alisha back.  Right now, Alisha is LITERALLY fighting for her life.  She is on a ventilator with Septic Shock and Multi Organ Failure.  They have started her on dialysis to clean her blood and help with her COMPLETE kidney failure.   And these few things are just the tip of the iceberg of issues she is having.

Alisha has just graduated high school and has begun a life of her own in Fallon.  This family has endured SO MUCH heart ache over the last 11 years... and now this.  Amy Dodge is needing some much needed help.  She is a single mother of 3, an active member with our Volunteer Fire Department as a Firefighter and Advanced EMT, and also employed by South Lyon Medical Center in the Emergency Room.  Amy has dedicated her life to saving lives, now she has to put her faith into someone else saving the life of her child.  

The money will go towards any expenses for Alisha (hospital, personal bills or whatever), paying hotel costs for Amy and her other 2 children, Tyler and Madison Booth, eating, fuel, Christmas, personal bills and whatever else it is, that Amy needs.
