Overhead Costs for Wear Orange Holland Event
Donation protected
Enough is enough. June 3-5 is #wearorange weekend. Communities across the country will be gathering in support of National Gun Violence Awareness Day (June 3). Join us Sunday, June 5 from 2:00-4:00 pm in Centennial Park (pending approval) in an ORANGE SHIRT for an opportunity to show support for our educators, schools, and victims of gun violence.
At the event, there will be opportunities to write letters to our representatives, make phone calls, send love notes to Robb Elementary and others who have experienced massacres this year, and learn about local organizations supporting our schools.
Every little bit matters, from showing up to volunteering to donating stamps to buying a case of bottled water. This fund will cover the event costs - including purchasing stamps to mail letters, bottled water, materials, etc. Any extra money over and above the event needs will go to Opportunity Thrive - a local nonprofit that supports the mental and emotional health of educators and school systems in Ottawa County.
