Coten End Staff Take on the Two Castles!

A group of staff from Coten End Primary school are coming together to take part in the locally well-known Two Castles 10k run on Sunday 11th June 2023, running from Warwick Castle and finishing within the grounds of Kenilworth Castle. The main aims of this is to raise as much money for two very important charities and to inspire our young children to set themselves challenges and remind them of the importance of keeping fit and healthy.

Along with the school's Charity Committee, children were asked to vote for the charities they wish to fundraise for and we are pleased to confirm that staff will be running on behalf of Evelyn's Gift and Cancer Research UK.

Evelyn's Gift is a charity very close to the hearts of many of our school community as Evelyn was a pupil at Coten End Primary School. Evelyn's Gift was formed in 2014 to do something positive in memory of Evelyn Mary Smith, who passed away suddenly in September 2013, aged just 7. The charity aims to provide little acts of kindness to people in need and to train as many people as possible in CPR and life-supporting skills.
