CJ is a 29 year old Ewings sarcoma cancer survivor who is once again in a fight for his life. In February after experiencing pain in his hip in the same area as his original tumor, doctors told him that as a complication from the radiation he received at 15 he now has a secondary tumor called osteo sarcoma. This is a difficult diagnosis but one he fully intends to beat. This treatment plan will consist of approximately 9 months of chemo with each round requiring hospitalization along with a difficult surgery sometime this summer in Denver Co. CJ has done his research and has found a top orthopedic oncology surgeon who will build a 3d printed prosthesis to replace the radiated bone as well as removing the current tumor. With such an aggressive treatment protocol CJ will be unable to work until his treatment is complete. Our hope, as his family and friends is that we can band together to help alleviate the financial burden and allow him to focus on getting well. Primarily we are asking for prayers but we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
