Could Jason Have Beaten Multiple Sclerosis?
Donation protected
Stuart Charno is now battling a more insidious nemesis than when he played Ted in Friday the 13th Part II and survived Jason's killing spree by drinking in a bar. He and I studied under Master Kenny Gong of the Shing-Yi style of martial arts 40 years ago in NYC and we have been close friends ever since.
Having lived with multiple sclerosis for the better part of 40 years, Stu is down but definitely not out as he is transitioning to life with a helper as his physical situation has deteriorated drastically over the past several years.
Ted in Friday the 13th Part 2 The Unlikely Survivor Who Subverted Slasher Movie Rules
An accomplished jazz musician who attended the School of Contemporary Music in Boston, he accidentally stumbled into acting. With 30 credits to his name from appearing in M*A*S*H to Newhart to the X-Files to Chicago Hope, as well as writing for Star Trek: The Next Generation and appearing in commercials for Volkswagen, Stu has helped make "goofy nerd" respectable and almost cool.
He is also the author of "High Koo, Wisdumb from our time...", Available on Amazon Stu called it "High Koo" as a calling to a higher perspective of yourself and the world around you. Written in 2007, it is needed now more than ever.
2020 has been an unprecedented year with the pandemic, wildfires, social strife and so many other issues and causes. Even with what is going on in the world (or maybe exactly because of it) I am asking you to consider a donation to help Stu fight the good fight. Thank you for reading and stay safe.
