We are raising funding to campaign against the Valuation Office's policy to band rooms individually for council tax. We believe this practice is effectively a way of introducing poll tax for rooms in England and Wales. This policy is detrimentally affecting tenants and landlords, and therefore our campaign will be focusing on pressurising the UK Government and the VOA to reverse this discriminatory practice. 

All funding received will be accounted for and made transparent to all our donors.

The money raised will be used to support our campaign including:

- Specialist legal advice to support the campaign

- Admin support to coordinate the media campaign

- Travel and room hire costs

- Legal admin costs

Please donate as MUCH AS YOU ARE ABLE. This fund is for promotional activities, legal activities and other costs to run the campaign. Ideally we would appreciate £350 as a starting amount. Feel free to change the GoFundMe TIP down to 0% if you want (it defaults to 15%)
