Counseling Resources for My Students

Hi, my name is Alaina Ellis and I am an elementary school counselor in Philadelphia. I am currently fundraising money for counseling resources to help my students! I’m the counselor for 3rd and 4th grade (roughly ages 8-10) at First Philly, which requires a high need for several resources. I recently found out that I do not receive any money to buy these resources, yet I am expected to provide them. Some of the things I will need are fidgets, pop it’s, small journals, stress balls, coloring and art supplies, games and puzzles, SEL posters, an emotions wheel, etc. I currently have over 400 students on my caseload, so I will need to make sure I have a good amount of supplies. I am also trying to buy everything for my office secondhand or bought sustainably, which is why I am fundraising the money 2 months before the school year starts. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I’m very excited for the next school year to begin so I can get back in the field. Thank you all so much!
