Courageous for Carson

Our dear  friends Denis and Teresa LaFrance we’re give terrible
news today. This is her post from Facebook. They have to travel to Toronto in less than 48 hours to get Carson the treatment he needs ASAP.  Please give what you can to help offset the cost of flights and incidentals while they are there and also for any future travel and expenses he made need. This is a post I never wanted to have to make. Today our precious Carson was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma ( cancer). His right eye ( the one that led me to getting him an eye dr appointment on Friday) is full of tumours, the retina is detached and he has no vision in it. They can’t save the right eye and it will need to be removed. The worst part is that his left eye has a few tiny tumours developing. These need to be treated ASAP as we want to save this eye and it’s vision. He needs further more detailed diagnostic testing to determine what treatment he needs. Whether it’s chemotherapy or laser or both. He needs an MRI and other tests. And to do all of this we will be flown out to the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. It has been a whirlwind passed three/four days.
