Courtenay Family

The Courtenay family, located in New Hampshire, has been faced with a scary event among their family.

 

Ryan, husband of Brittney and father to their children Cardin and Kensley, has been diagnosed with pneumonia and a rare tick bourne disease called 'babesiosis' which threatens blood cells.

 

Showing signs of recovery, Ryan had high hopes of going home shortly after being diagnosed but took a turn for the worst and is now admitted into the respiratory unit. He will be monitored and medicated while the family hopes for good news to come.

 

Despite receiving good news, Ryan will need to continue frequent treatments at the hospital, which will result in added medical expenses on top of the costs from the hospital stays and endless tests to come to a final diagnosis.

 

We're asking for your help to aid in this family's medical bills. A portion of this will also go toward child care since Ryan is located in a locked down area of the hospital due to his condition. They rely on Ryan's paycheck with a cushion from Brittney's writing (who writes under the pen name Lila Grey), but both of them have been spending all of their time under the roof of their local hospital. 

 

The goal was just set for a number; we have no expectations, only appreciation for those who care to help.
