Courtenay Pedersen - Brain Tumor Removal

On August 6th Courtenay Pedersen was rushed to the emergency room in Port Moody, BC after feeling extremely ill. After several hours of testing, the doctors discovered she has a brain tumor on the left frontal lobe of her brain. She is currently admitted to the hospital awaiting brain surgery on Monday. Once as much of the tumor as possible is removed it will be biopsied for further information and a treatment plan. While we wait for more answers and the next steps we are asking for your help during this difficult time.

For those of you who don't know Courtenay, she is 27 years old and an amazing young woman. She works 2 jobs and loves her community, friends and family, and her job very much. This news has had a devastating impact on many in our community. She lost her mother to brain cancer a few years ago so this news has rattled her family and friends to their core; however we hold out hope and faith for her.

Any contribution made is deeply appreciated and will go towards paying her expenses as she is off work.
