Courtney Haines

Hello, I’m Darcy, Courtney’s best friend and I’m reaching out to you to help Courtney and her family with the finanacial hardship that is about to come. Courtney has worked so hard towards her LPN over the last few years, and just got to start working on the medical/surgical floor in Februaty.. Finally all her hard work has paid off and she is getting to work her dream and show her children where hard work and commitment can get you. She is so commited to her children, her family and her patients. Unfortunately, in early May, Courtney was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2, Breast Cancer, at the age of just 36. After spending the last few weeks being tested, scanned and back and forth to the doctors, Courtney, her family and her medical team have come up with a plan to help her beat this. On June 14th, courtney will undergo a partial maceotcmy on the affected side and having the unaffected side reduced. 4-6 weeks after surgery she will most likely undergo 4 months of chemo, then 4-6 weeks after that, radiation mon-fri for 4 weeks 15 mins/day. As you can imagine during this time courtney will be out of work, family will all be there to help take care of her, but her husband Wesley may need to take some time off as well to be there for Courtney and the kids. With the whole village behind her Courtney is going to overcome this and be back stronger than ever, but her healing journey will be hard and she needs our help to get there. If you have a few extra to donate to the Haines family for meals, loss wages, any medical bills that may come out of this and simply to allow them one less stress during this time, we would greatly appreciate it. But if you can’t contribute financially, the gift of a prayer or positive though to Courtney is worth even more. I know that Courtney and her family are already so greatful for all of you and are truly blessed to have such an amazing village behind her, cheering her on during this healing journey.
